What is included in your Weddings Signature Package fees?

* Use of the space beginning at 8am for vendor load in and 4 hours for vendor load out immediately following the event.
* 1-hour ceremony (depending on final guest count a fee may be applied).
* 5-hour rental for wedding reception
* Customized menu and dedicated service staff by Abigail Kirsch, our catering partner.
* Weylin’s Signature Bar Package and house wines.
* A rental allowance offering your choice of chairs, tables, linens and all items we would need to successfully execute your service.
* Day-of coordination by Abigail Kirsch event manager.
* Facility maintenance.
* Event security.
* Restroom attendants.
* Coat check.
* In house Event Coordinator to assist with questions along the way.

What is included in your Weddings Venue Rental fees?

Use of the space beginning at 8am for vendor load in and 4 hours for vendor load out immediately following the event.
* 1-hour ceremony (depending on final guest count a fee may be applied).
* 5-hour rental for wedding reception
* Weylin’s Signature Bar Package and house wines are mandatory for an additional fee.
* Facility maintenance.
* Event security.
* Restroom attendants.
* Use of coat check room with space for your size group (does not include staffing or rentals).
* In house Event Coordinator to assist with questions along the way.

How many guests can your facility host?

While our average size wedding is approximately 250 guests, Weylin can host weddings anywhere between 75 to 350 guests. We highly recommend our Intimate Weddings package for groups smaller than 150 guests.

Do you have a minimum required guest count for weddings?

This is actually a great question to answer! Do you want to entertain counts below 75? If yes, the answer can be as simple as "As our space is very versatile, we are happy to learn about your event to see if we can create a package that works for you!"

Can I host an Intimate Wedding on a Saturday outside of the Summer or Winter months?

Intimate Weddings are not available for Saturday’s outside of the Summer or Winter months.

Can we host the wedding ceremony and the reception at Weylin?

Absolutely! Our landmark venue can comfortably accommodate up to 350 guests for a ceremony, cocktail reception, dinner and dancing.

Can I use Weylin just for my ceremony?

Yes, however the full 5-hour venue rental fee would still apply.

Do I need a planner or coordinator for the day of my wedding?

We require a planner or day-of coordinator for all weddings except for our Weddings Signature Package where these services can be provided by our catering partner Abigail Kirsch at no additional cost. However, many of our clients choose to bring in additional coordination to take care of all the little details throughout their special day.

Can I stop by and walk-in for a venue walkthrough with no scheduled appointment?

We require a scheduled appointment for all site visits. Since we have a busy schedule of walkthroughs and events, walk-in clients will be likely to find that our team is unavailable to show you around without notice.

Is there a bridal suite/dressing area onsite?

Our venue offers many private rooms to be used as the Bridal Suite for your big day - the President's Room being the most popular choice. However, we do strongly suggest that you and your entire party come ready to go and use these rooms as a private space during the event or for photos beforehand. There are no additional fees for the use of these rooms.

Can The 1875 Bar be used for my after-party?

Absolutely, it is the perfect location for an after-party.

Do you host rehearsal dinners?

Yes, we do! Based on your total guest count, The 1875 Bar and The Gallery are ideal rooms for your rehearsal dinner. This would be an additional cost based on your needs.

Do you allow outside caterers?

Yes, we do. Our Weddings Venue Rental Package allows outside catering although the liquor program would be provided by Weylin.

What vendors are exclusive to your venue?

Bestek Lighting and Staging is our exclusive lighting and A/V vendor.
Advanced Parking Concepts is our exclusive Valet Parking vendor.
Party Rental is our exclusive rental company.

Can we host a kosher event at your venue?

Absolutely! Our Weddings Venue Rental Package allows you to use the caterer of your choice (pending venue approval).

Can I bring in my own alcohol?

Yes, however a buyout fee will apply.

Can I bring in a cake?

Absolutely.

Is the building wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the building complies with ADA requirements.

Where do guests park?

Weylin offers valet parking services through our exclusive vendor Advanced Parking Concepts at an additional fee. Although it is not mandatory we encourage clients to book this service for a unique guest experience.

Can we take pictures in the space beforehand?

Based on your specific use of the spaces and event timeline, you will be able to select your favorite space for family pictures.

Is smoking allowed? Is there a designated smoking area?

Smoking is not allowed inside our venue, however we offer a front courtyard as the designated smoking area during events. Drinking is not allowed at our courtyard.

Are candles allowed?

Yes, candles are allowed however Weylin reserves the power of approval for quantity and location.

Do I need to provide my insurance?

Yes, a template certificate can be requested to our production team in order to understand our specific insurance requirements.

Can I have a DJ or band?

Yes, you can have a DJ, band or both. You will need to work with our exclusive A/V Bestek Lighting and Staging to supply any necessary equipment.

Can I plug in my own iPod for dancing?

Only at 1875 Bar you can plug in your iPod for dancing. This means that this service is available at all Intimate Weddings or any after party.

What equipment do you recommend for my DJ or band?

Our exclusive A/V vendor Bestek Lighting and Staging will provide a list of the required audio equipment.

When can my vendors (Florist, Band, DJ, etc.) arrive? When can we get in to set up?

Your venue access begins at 8am the day of your event. Additional set-up days can be added for a fee upon availability.

When can my vendors (Florist, Band, DJ, etc.) load out?

Your venue access ends 4 hours after the end of your wedding. Additional load-out days can be added for a fee upon availability.

Where can we set up a photo booth?

Weylin offers a wide array of backdrops for your photo booth. Our colorful wallpapers are ideal for this purpose. The Vault and Persian Room are two of bride’s favorite selections. The flow and guest count of your event might determine which is your best option.
