Last month, we were excited to help entertainment company Superfly kick off its Cocktail Magic tour where some of the most talented mixologists in the city gathered under both of our domes to serve up expertly crafted libations. The lucky guests enjoyed classic and specialty cocktails mixed by all-star bartenders from 12 of the most renowned watering holes in New York, such as The Dead Rabbit, Dutch Kills, and Death & Co. So basically, instead of covering miles and miles in what would be the world’s most ambitious pub crawl, all guests had to do to sample the best drinks New York has to offer is take a leisurely stroll through Weylin B. Seymour’s. Of course, nothing pairs with a meticulously made tipple quite like a piping hot piece of pizza, and wouldn’t you know that world-famous Bushwick institution Roberta’s was on hand to provide the pies.
As if the food and beverage selection wasn’t enchanting enough, Superfly brought a troupe of award-winning magicians to enthrall the crowd with mind-boggling sleight of hand and close up tricks. Illusionists like Francis Menotti, Matthew Holtzclaw, and Noah Levine routinely consult for film and television, show off their skills at the famed Magic Castle, and dazzle countless audiences, both in person and on TV.
This was more than a corporate event, it was a feast for the senses. And what party in Brooklyn is complete without a killer playlist? The evening’s soundtrack consisted of a DJ set by Baio, aka Vampire Weekend bassist Chris Baio.
At Weyiin B. Seymour’s, we strive to make every event memorable, and that’s not hard to do when you’ve got elite magicians, a fierce army of skilled bartenders, and a member of one of the hottest bands in the country on hand.
